Daily Duties at At&T:

•Provide pre-sales engineering design/consulting services to Account Executives and Customers. Advised prospects and customers on how to best utilize ATT products within their environments to realize the strong value proposition. •Teamed with Account Executives to form one unified account team that addressed the business and technical needs of the prospect and customer. Coordinated resources between the customer sales, marketing and professional services teams, while demonstrating professionalism interacting with all levels of management •Negotiated equipment reduction cost with various vendors reducing ATT cost of goods anywhere from 5% to 15%. Set equipment margins based on company limits. •Participated in contract negotiation activities to ensure the company is appropriately represented on technical aspects including review of all contractually binding documents for technical accuracy. •Helped achieve strategic company objectives and territory revenue goals. •Implemented and prioritize design projects, based on fluctuating and tight deadlines. Cultivated long-term working relationships with sales and support administrative personnel. Collaborated with international design engineers on IP PBX and network criteria along with pricing issues. Built and cultivated partnerships with (Nortel, Avaya, Cisco, Juniper etc) within the region, and served as the liaison with them locally, as well interfaced with other ATT subject matter experts to build custom solution. •Responsibilities included in-depth knowledge across multiple technical disciplines including Managed Services, IT/Data/Voice/Video applications, convergence technologies, IP-based technologies and Security strategies. Held conference calls with customer, third party vendors and sales personnel •Designed international IP PBX equipment designs for companies such Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) Group and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. •Partnered with ATT bid management organization to build out detailed RFP responses and contract development
