Daily Duties at Therma Tru Corporation:
Worked in a team-oriented environment to design new products for the Entry systems group. New Products Impact Door Lite Project – Designed an inserted door lite that would meet the International and Residential Building Code requirements for door lites in a coastal hurricane region. Retractable Insect Screen – Worked to select a capable supplier of a retractable screen product to Therma-tru. Mid-price Point Glass – Worked to qualify other vendors capable of supplying quality decorative lite products to Therma-tru. Design Quality, Cost, and Manufacturing improvements to entry systems in a team-oriented environment. Managed projects from concept to implementation. Coordinate with manufacturing to run pilot runs for newly designed entry systems. Coordinate with the Testing Labs to ensure the full testing entry systems. Experience with injection molding, compression molding, and plastic and metal extrusions
