Daily Duties at Fort James Corp/ Georgia Pacific :
• Supervise vendor personnel on all installation projects implemented on network utilizing Fiber Optics and 100 BASE T; empower, direct and focus technical teams for cost-effective, timely implementation of all tasks; perform quality assurance tests, and sign off at process completion. • Develop and orchestrate creation and launch of 700 user, 3 location LAN; configure all Bay Network 450T switches and all network addressing. • Design Patch Panel System for Data Center including electrical requirements. Design and guide installation of 13 IDF Closets throughout 7 story complex. • Provide daily LAN operational expertise and guidance; oversee Network traffic monitoring with use of SNMP and Sniffer Pro; generate reports on user statistics. • Institute routine troubleshooting acumen on Network and at branch offices; utilize Fluke Enterprise LAN / WAN meter. Work performed with Optivity and Open View
