Daily Duties at Bearing Point:
BearingPoint, Inc., Redwood City, California February 2006 – Present A $3.5 billion publicly held management and technology consulting firm Financial Reporting Analyst Provide first level of review of Contract set-up in system with proper Revenue Recognition classification Prepare monthly and ad-hoc program analysis of billings, financial forecast changes, and contract adjustments Direct assistance in generating spend plans, estimates to complete, estimates at complete, and client proposals. Follow-up and report on questionable or invalid expenses and variances to expense budgets. BearingPoint, Inc., Foxboro, Massachusetts Financial Reporting Analyst Assisted in the preparation and review of external financial statements and disclosures required for SEC Form 10-K, 11-K, 10-Q, 8-K Supported the financial statement preparation process and SEC reporting process while supervising two staff. Coordinated with corporate accounting, treasury, legal, executive management and external auditors in developing comprehensive support for the consolidated financial statements. Researched, applied and documented recently issued GAAP accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations. Developed, monitored and maintained SEC compliance programs required under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
