Daily Duties at Administration For Children's Services:
As a Child Protective Specialist, I investigated child abuse/ neglect cases that were reported to the State Central Registry within a 24 to 48 hour period. If there were safety concerns for the child(ren), safety interventions were put in place. I contacted the child's school, pediatrician and family members to ensure that the child was safe if there were no safety concerns during the initial home visit.
