Daily Duties at Honeywell Aerospace:
Materials & Process Engineering PR (M&PE) Granta MI is a Web-based Information System used by engineering departments for working with materials data and processes. Granta MI Support Engineer administers system access and security. Also, designs, develops and analyses custom tools for the Granta MI System. Tools include validation, importing, exporting, reports, and other tools. Development applications/tools used include: Microsoft Access, Oracle, SQL Server, C#2008 & .NET 3.5, Visual BASIC 6/2005, Granta MI, etc. Consulting and involvement in other M&PE Puerto Rico Database & Information Systems projects. Serve as IT focal point for M&PE Puerto Rico. Consulting and working with M&PE and IT to solve and improve infrastructure hardware, software, and processes. Work to improve productivity, performance, etc, for M&PE PR applications.
