Spearheaded Technical Strategy and focus for a suite of IP-based, carrier-grade messaging applications (Mail and Unified Messaging) utilizing Solaris, HP/UX, AIX, Tru64, and Oracle. Selected Highlights: Pioneered training for Unified Messaging for internal trainers, professional services group, and customer resellers. Lead Architect and Engineer for Zoomtown industry changing Unified Messaging trial. Lead Architect and Engineer for highly visible, multi-million dollar conversion from outsourced messaging and ISP to internal operations. Lead Architect for carrier class messaging deployment at Telus – Designed and implemented Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan, Migration Strategy and Implementation for conversion from existing messaging product. Lead Architect and Engineer at Sprint Canada for corporate LDAP implementation, which resulted in several million dollars in cost saving.
