As Litigation paralegal working for 2 equity partners representing property, professional liability, including medical professional liabilty insurance carriers. Organized and maintained pleadings, docket control, prepare discovery requests for Plaintiff and draft responses to Plaintiffs' discovery requests. Organize, index, and prepare summaries of all medical records. Perform research, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and industry standards. Correspond and coordinate efforts with attorneys, staff, insurance company representatives, law enforcement officials, and counsel for co-defendants. Subpoena witnesses for testimony at trial and coordinate times of testimony of our defendant(s), expert witness(es), and witness(es). Correspond with court officials regarding preparations for upcoming trials.
