Daily Duties at Electronic Data Systems:
Administered databases and networks administration tasks for EDS and its clients (Conoco Thailand and Credit Lyonnais). Managed SQL Server, Oracle, Windows NT, Netware and LAN Manager based network, Remote Access Servers and Microsoft Mail supporting 250+ users. Installed and configured SQL Server for Retail Automation application connecting over 100 sites. Mentored and managed junior Technical support specialist. Helped EDS Sales team in writing technical proposals and technical sales support activities. Evaluated and recommended database, networking and desktop services tools for EDS clients. • Developed automated and manual maintenance plan to monitor and tune database performance. • Resolved deadlock issue with Conoco’s retail automation system and help the implementation complete on time and budget. • Designed and developed help desk support database and standard help desk management policy.
