Daily Duties at Cognos:
Responsible for selling full breadth of Performance Management Software to the Global 2000 including: Reporting & Analysis, Scorecards & Dashboards, Enterprise Planning & Consolidations, Analytical Applications and Workforce Management. Significant emphasis on selling across the enterprise to: Finance, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing and Information Technology. Successfully competed against small and large competitors like Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects/SAP, IBI, & MicroStrategy. Assisted clients during various aspects of performance management initiatives from identifying KPIs to applying technology to manage key business metrics. Required thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, ability to partner with small & large technology/business partners and management of internal & external resources. Successfully developed relationships with “C” level executives in key strategic accounts.
