• Recruiting:Screened resumes, background checks and checked references in a timely manner. Administered Interviews Developed and maintained network of contacts to help indentify and source qualified candidates. Initiated contact with candidates for specific job openings. Utilized internet and online recruiting sources to recruit candidates. • Training: Planned, Organized, and directed a wide range of training activities. Conducted orientation sessions for new employees. Helped workers maintain and improve there job skills. • Employee Relations: Provided recommendations regarding how employee performance can be improved and how misconduct can be prevented. Ensured employees were aware of what was expected of them, and what the consequence s will be. Also assisted with performance evaluations, standards of conduct and policy administeration. • Payroll: Posted payroll documents and late timecards. Verified employee’s eligibility for day off pay. Handled all pay discrepancies and payroll inquiries. Reviewed, prepared and entered payroll vouchers and adjustments. Prepared checks for pick-up and distribution. Reviewed check list for signature and mailed unclaimed payroll checks. Maintained all employee payroll files and payroll reports. Processed terminated employees’ wage history for projected pension status. Processed payroll taxes. • AP/AR:Entered and Received approval on invoices and monthly billing Posted billing data and invoice information Monitered and managed monthly bill payments Printed out all accounts payable reports and maintained all files Prepared analysis of accounts, as required Assisted monthly closing Received and verified invoices Verified that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures Prepared,verified, and processed invoices and payment documents Prepared batches of invoices for data entry Data entered invoices for payment Processed backup reports after data entry Managed weekly check run Recorded all checks Prepared vendor checks for mailing Kept records of all checks in excel spreadsheet Printed and distributed monthly financial reports
