Daily Duties at The Home Depot:
STAFFING PROCESS MANAGER: The Home Depot’s Peopleclick System Administrator and manager of the enterprise’s staffing processes and responsible for ensuring OFCCP compliance through technology while supporting business goals and priorities. Partner closely with Field and Store Support Center HR and business leaders to gain support, involvement, and acceptance of the Applicant Tracking System (Peopleclick) and ensure compliance with OFCCP and Home Depot Staffing SOP. Participate on multiple cross-functional teams and field focus groups including government compliance, HRIS, payroll, IT, external job boards, and applicant tracking system vendor in order to complete the implementation of Peopleclick RMS 4.3 in June 2006. Facilitate the implementation of Peopleclick ATS with new acquisitions (HD Direct, Chem-Dry, HDIS). Insured job codes were properly established in Peopleclick, trained newly acquired staffing department and hiring managers with regard to Home Depot SOP, OFCCP guidelines and ATS technology/workflow. Through the System Administrator permissions, established customized staffing and recruitment processes and procedures within Peopleclick to accommodate specific business needs while maintaining OFCCP and corporate compliance. Utilize Business Objects to extract applicant/requisition information from Peopleclick as requested by various business partners. Created weekly reports for business partners which can be run by the field as needed. Assisted with selection, planning, logistics and implementation of national diversity and college career fairs. RECRUITING SUPERVISOR: Manager of national recruiting department for At-Home Services, Inc. - Four direct reports. Introduced and trained staff and business partners in the field on Peopleclick Applicant Tracking System, Home Depot Staffing SOP, OFCCP compliance, and new hire procedures. Created, implemented and managed innovative, full-cycle recruitment and hiring processes for national field sales department and branch support center. By automating the recruiting process and introducing internal SLAs, the recruiting department was able to streamline the recruiting process while fostering strong relationships across functional departments and business partners in the field. Conduct and train hiring managers with regard to sourcing and interviewing candidates as well as how to conduct exit interviews in order to improve turnover and remain employer of choice. Recruit for At-Home Services, Inc. corporate positions (accounting, payables/receivables, customer support, merchandising, IT, Finance, Marketing) including assistance with planning, logistics and implementation of national diversity and college career fairs.
