Daily Duties at Rural Metro :
In this position I was responsible for the posting, billing and collection of patient accounts. Also calculate charges from data entered and billed the correct health insurance providers. Reviewed the accuracy of charges applied to patient accounts. Knowledge of medical billing terminology, Medicare, Medicaid, and third party billing. Fast-paced work environment where continuous improvements and policy changed were made. Able to Multi-task the phone and data entry requirements. Worked with Microsoft Office with an average of 40 wpm. Customer service, and additional 10 key, also gained the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple priorities.
