Daily Duties at Carolinas Health Care System:
Responsible for assisting Voice staff in the repair and maintenance of telephone equipment. Moves, Adds and changing of existing telephone equipment, including the following: VOIP/Digital telephones, analog phones, point to point circuits, new telephone deployment and installing new telephone systems/equipment at remote site locations. MDF/IDF connection and tracking. Simple name changes, resets, phone set ups, re-loads, software occasional test. Install new office equipment including Xerox work centre copy machines, fax machines, mail machines, Intermec printer, and HP printers. Support and install all infrastructure cabling and wireless network connectivity. T1 and T3 circuits moves and installs, installs and troubleshoots cable television, internet, telephone and other media. Complete all requests for adds, moves and changes on telecommunication systems in a timely manner including, but not limited to: New Extensions, Voice Mailboxes, Voice Mail Greetings, Employee logins, etc. Complete and maintain daily backups for all telecommunications systems. Train new employees on how to use the companys phones and voice mail systems. Maintain all cross connect patch panels making sure that all cables and wiring blocks are numbered and easily identifiable. Trouble shooting & Repairs for Call Bell Systems, Executone Care Com ll, and Zettler Sentinel 500, Dukane, Hill Rom , Fisher Berkley, Jeron EC-300, Rauland Responder, Ringmaster Intercom, Curbel, , Nurse Call Systems. IVT Interactive Video Technology. Lanier System adds and moves installs.PM- White ER phones, 154 Centrex lines moves Extend dial tone to water system / Chiller and modems for Duke Power. Videoconferencing setup, configuration and support Live meeting setup Setup conference rooms 30 minutes prior to meeting start time; follow up. NETWORK SUPPORT Wireless connectivity troubleshooting. Wired connectivity troubleshooting up to the wall jack. . Provide estimated times of repair and creates and closes tickets for each issue not originally created in the trouble ticketing system. Provide communication on all escalated issues to management and documenting progress of assigned incidents. Cover rotating on-call responsibilities during off-hours with the availability to provide after-hour coverage on a periodic basis
