Climbers' Joblogs at Uni First Corporation:

High Direction

Over the last couple years I have a better understanding of "High Direction". I always believed that just because I was always at the top as a Salesperson that my way was the right way. Over the last couple years, I have learned alot about being an amiable person. I go back and wonder how many of those Sales Managers or Salespeople, could I have not had to term if I had been a little more flexible with trying to at least understand their position or stance. At the same time, some people need "High Direction" which is actually more strict than I have been in the past. Some employees are just like our children, they need to be given something, shown exactly how to use it, told what to do with it, then followed up on to ensure that it got done. I have so often made sure that I simply hired the right people and this would not have to be done, but I have now learned that even those highly educated employees sometimes need "Higher Direction".
