Daily Duties at American Airlines:
After beginning as a reservations agent in the Cincinnati office, was repeatedly promoted, initially to sales positions in New York City and then ultimately to corporate communications positions at the company’s global headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. Wrote press releases and internal communications content. Conducted daily local and national media interviews. Arranged, managed and attended familiarization trips with key media personnel. Prepared strategic talking points and media responses. Researched and created reports of high-level data and competitive marketing information. Managed complex state and federal government inquiries, providing official company responses to local, state and federal legislators.
