Daily Duties at Newbasis:
Developed and administered corporate policies and procedures in relation to risk management, safety and workers’ compensation to include the Injury Illness Prevention and ensured compliance to safety and other EHS programs as well as Emergency Preparedness in a large prefab concrete and plastic utility vault manufacturing company in California. Frequently inspected the facility and field construction sites to observe environmental health and safety exposures and violations and corrected non compliance in a positive behavioral based employee environment. Developed and presented heath and safety related training. Investigated employee injuries, provided first aid or ensured they were treated properly by the local medical clinic followed-up and monitored injury claims until closed.
