Daily Duties at 3 Day Blinds:
Responsible for compliance to safety and EHS programs and Emergency Preparedness in a large window blind manufacturing facility. Chaired the company Safety Committee to ensure a safety and healthy work environment. Coordinated and conducted employee safety orientations developed and presented heath and safety related training to include PPE. Lockout Tagout, HAZCOM, Emergency Procedures and other OSHA required training. Walked the production floor observing both positive and negative Safety exposures and violations and both corrected and/or praised employees for compliance or non compliance in a positive behavioral based employee environment. Investigated employee injuries, provided first aid or ensured they were treated properly by the local medical clinic. Did follow-up and monitored injury claims until closed.
