Daily Duties at Asset Acceptance Capital Corp:

• Develop and maintain project management documentation, including project plans and detailed scope of work • Ensure projects meet required SDLC and SOX company policies • Conduct meetings with business partners to acquire business requirements, specifically operational reports (250+) necessary in conversion • Subject matter expert for the team in collection platform conversion from FACS to COGENT – including Operation Reports and Financial Data • Collaborate with other members of Information Services to ensure data quality, integrity, full business requirements are met and best data extraction methods • Designed, developed, tested and installed reports with SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio – Report Server Projects. Reports included multiple datasets and parameters • Write and execute Test Plans and Test Scripts that test the data from the source database. Testing included writing adhoc queries in SQL Server 2005 Management Studio as well as running the report within SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio and from the Report Server itself. • Installed Report Definition Language report files to Development, Test and Production Environments on Microsoft Reporting Server. • Training, guidance and development of Data & Information team to support the day to day operations • Directed and coordinated the activities of team involved with the analysis of business reports. • Determined necessity of reports, simplification of reports format and increasing content effectiveness • Develop documentation and conduct training sessions to business partners on reports displayed in Cogent, Cognos 8 BI Query Studio and the Cognos 8 BI package data elements • Perform adhoc queries on a daily basis to research and understand Cogent’s databases and assist in data validation
