12/05–1/08 Executive Recruitment Coordinator Corporate Human Resources – Charlotte, North Carolina -Coordinate all employment related activities for CHS Executive Recruitment -Source and review candidates for Director level or above opportunities -Schedule interviews for Managers and see that candidates have all the information they need for interviewing -Provide recruiting council/advice for managers and administrators -Complete all background and reference checks prior to making offers -Negotiate offers with management and candidates -Schedule health assessments and orientation -Assist in the development of ongoing education to managers and staff on policies and procedures in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources 12/05–1/08 HR Employee Relations Specialist Central Mecklenburg Human Resource Center – Charlotte, North Carolina -Acted as a consultant to Managers regarding employee discipline -Managed the Employee Counseling Steps: Verbal, Written, Final and Termination -Assisted Management in developing/writing Improved Performance documentation -Assisted with termination of employees -Mediated over 100 disputes between Managers and Employees regarding discipline actions such as counseling, performance appraisals and terminations -Administered EEOC and ESC Claims and attended hearings when applicable -Participated in the Corporate Employee Dispute Resolution Process as needed -Created and revised employment policies and procedures including “Emergency Event Staffing”, “Standard of Appearance Policy”, “Code Green” -Monitored employee and management compliance with CHS policies and procedures and federal and state employment laws 11/04 – 12/05 HR Generalist Carolinas Physicians Network HR Center – Charlotte, NC -Coordinated the recruitment, employment and employee relation’s activities for assigned facilities and departments of CHS. -Effective communication/interpersonal skills interacting with system personnel, other hospitals, professional organizations and various local organizations, agencies and applicants. -Participated in the Communication of the results of the Employee Satisfaction Survey 7/03 – 11/04 HR Recruitment Coordinator Workforce Development/Corporate Recruitment – Charlotte, North Carolina -Leadership role as the principal point of CHS contact for external workforce -Coordinated numerous projects with System personnel, other hospitals, professional organizations and various national/state/local organizations/agencies as well as community residents 3/02 – 7/03 HR Recruitment Specialist Central Mecklenburg Human Resource Center – Charlotte, North Carolina -Coordinated recruitment activities and programs for multiple CHS positions -Represented CHS in the community, the state and nationally
