Daily Duties at State Of Tennessee Dept. Of General Services:

Direct the planning and organization of all auditing activities for the Department, assist in the development, explanation, interpretation and enforcement of state and federal laws, rules and regulations and audit policies, assist in the review of systems implementations and their potential audit ramifications, direct the coordination of State and Federal audits, perform special studies and provide management advisory service to Senior Management, direct the planning and execution of contract reviews, conduct training classes for Departmental employees on auditing and human resources issues, perform workplace harassment and EEOC investigations, assist in conflict negotiation between the Department and other State agencies and vendors, provide training and direct supervision to 5 staff auditors and 1 administrative support staff.
