Daily Duties at Lexington Health Care Center:

Supervised a team of ten recreational staff members; produced staff schedules and tracked staff hours; developed, implemented and reviewed recreation programs and special events; created and implemented projected activity department budget plans; assessed individuals for likes/dislikes and abilities pertaining to recreational pursuits and involvement, mood symptoms, behaviors exhibited, and cognitive abilities; completed sections of the MDS forms as pertaining to social service needs and leisure interests; planned and coordinated annual large scale events such as resident art fairs and Summerfest celebrations; provided guidance and supervision of resident council; planned and lead out trips within the community; recruited, oriented and organized volunteers within the facility; prepared and administered care plans with goals and objectives for the residents; provided managerial supervision of the facility during evenings and weekends; managed and purchased items for the facility gift shop.
