Daily Duties at Qimonda:

* Manage team of 10-12 Implant associates for 2 yrs * Manage team of 24-26 Diffusion Associates for 1 year. * Create a positive, proactive, respectful work environment. * Set clear employee performance expectations and provide required/constructive feedback. * Provide the team with the tools and the information required to meet the factory goals. * Maintain the teams performance reviews, time keeping, awards and recognition and all other employee records. * Attain productivity, cycle time, process yield, equipment utilization and quality goals. * Resolve complex manufacturing issues. * Demonstrate dependability, flexibility to work all shifts and overtime hours. * Monitor production line performance against plan and make decisions for stage strategy/line balance. * Identify / escalate any issues impacting factory-wide volume or cycle time performance goals and communicate through shift pass-downs as well as at daily line control meetings. * Ensure continuity across shift and with peer shifts. * Monitor priority lots; escalate if issues * Focal point for any administrative issues on shift. * Demonstrated successful performance in the areas of self-initiative, teamwork, flexibility conflict resolution and commitment. * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Trained in Basic Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Business Management Strategies.
