Daily Duties at Cornerstone:

Providing quality day services and supports to adults with developmental disabilities and ensuring that the individuals are supported within their community; and not served in an alternative or segregated setting. Directly responsible for day program design and implementation, authorizing modifications to existing programs and developing proposals for new programs, oversight of day-to-day program operations, assignment of and monitoring the work of instructors who lead groups and provide direct support to individuals with disabilities. Responsible for the completion of intake evaluations, monthly reviews and performance summaries, researching potential contract opportunities and writing contract proposals, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with city departments, hospitals, health care professionals, families, service providers and the community-at-large, maintaining program documentation and preparing written and statistical reports, maintaining the service recipients expectations; and satisfaction of achieving their personal outcomes, as well as global and community expectations for their quality of care, performing internal audits, evaluating the program for effectiveness; developing recommendations for agency improvements, participating in team planning meetings for the agency and performing other duties as assigned or required.
