Daily Duties at Quova, Inc:
• Member of the data research team. Works on projects to improve data accuracy which requires lots of thinking, statistical analysis, machine learning and rule base decision trees.
• Works on application development to create prototypes quickly, refactor them, make them faster, more stable and scalable - to create the product.
• Project lead of major projects including our IPv6 geolocation data product.
• Plays with data a lot...with lots of data...and uses SQL (ORACLE), Map/Reduce (Hadoop) and own Java tools/apps.
• Uses Java, Spring, Swing, Jess and whatever fits to our needs - in an Agile environment
