Daily Duties at Providian Financial:
Created a team of analyst to provide data modeling, data warehouse tool support and business content understanding to data warehouse end users and departments. Created an integrated on-line data dictionary from 3 different Informix data warehouse system dictionaries and integrated an Erwin data modeling repository into Lotus Notes. • Managed staff of 10 (2 teams of 5 each). • Participated in new Data Warehouse design and data model reviews. • Supported Erwin, Informatica, Business Objects, MicroStrategy and other BI software. • Wrote policy, procedures, service level agreements, archive and disaster recovery plans. • Supervised analyst team to track system change impacts of new projects.
