Daily Duties at Public Policy Non Profit Foundation:

Chief Administrator and Executive Team Member responsible for Budgeting, administration, personnel and human resources management to include benefits administration, medical, dental, life, 403(b); Manage and oversee the activities of employees engaged in administrative support activities; ensure employees are assigned to maximize objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements; Daily operation of national 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) sister organizations functioning as COO with signature authority on all accounts; Monitor costs against negotiated amount to assure all projects operate within contract terms and budget; originate and approve Request for Proposal (RFP), LOI (Letter of Intent), MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), Agreements, Contracts, NDA (non-disclosure agreements). Maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, and methods; and ensure compliance with contract and project requirements; Assess workflow issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, goals and objectives; Primary point of contact for new donor development, established key donors, members of board, corporate executives, high-ranking government officials and grassroots activists. Position required discretion and high degree of confidentiality; high profile security arrangements. Project Manager for 11 national media press conferences at the U.S. Capitol involving African-American, Hispanic, Jewish and Christian leaders. Prepared press kits, information summaries, and advances for national media outlets: Fox News, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, C-SPAN, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, USA Today and others, advances to the galleries in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. Close coordination with the Senate Majority Leader and Speaker of the House. Orchestration of 6 White House briefings for supporters and board members, including security clearances with Secret Service. Project manager for 2 national Marriage Protection Awards programs to U.S. Senators at U.S. Capitol. Project manager for launch of grassroots campaign at the state level, the most recent having been Latino outreach in California Events / Meetings and Project Manager for National Marriage Summit in Washington, D. C. Catered receptions at the U.S. Senate for members and their spouses, Alliance supporters, and board members. Designed all meeting materials and oversaw in-house and outsourced production. 3 national summits in Washington, D.C. Organized and executed all aspects including budget, site selection, program, speaker, meeting logistics and contract negotiations. Administered budget of more than $3 million and grants totaling over $800K. Managed non-profit charitable solicitation and lobbying registrations in all 50 states; liaison with legal counsel. Responsible for donor mailings, gift processing, grant submissions and proposals, preparation of materials for annual independent audit to include audited financials, Form 990 preparation and management letter to comply with GAAP and IRS requirements. Authored policy and procedure manual for all functions in the organizations. Authored and managed transition plan for downsizing and best use of budgeted funds. Responsible for president’s extensive calendar, speaking, and travel arrangements. Confidentiality agreements.
