What they like about American Technical Ceramics:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.

Climbers' Joblogs at American Technical Ceramics:

How Do You Get Along With Difficult Employers or Employees?

Okay, you got a job. Congratulations! Problem? After a few months on the job, you notice the other employees aren't being friendly towards you. What do you do? I had such an experience. I was working on a job and the supervisor over me would yell at me and another lady who worked there part-time but she would treat this other employee who had been there with her five years like she was an old friend. I even overheard her telling someone, "Sheila's my second in command." This Sheila would buy her lunch and would fall all over her. And this same supervisor would let her get away with murder. This Sheila would yell at me and she would let her do it. When this same supervisor would go on vacation, she'd leave this Sheila in charge. Now tell me, Is it right for a supervisor to favor one particular employee and treat others like dirt?
