Daily Duties at New York University:
? Database management for the Institutional Review Board for Human Subjects Research. Maintain interoffice databases using Microsoft Access. Create new tables, forms, queries and reports. Create and update Excel spreadsheets, templates, and reports. Assist in the construction and design of Interwoven Databases for archived submissions and InfoEd Database software for electronic research administration. Managed all files and folders for all databases. ? Assist faculty and students with developing research protocols and locating appropriate funding sources in the public and private sectors. Review proposals for substance and accuracy and ensure compliance with University policies, agency guidelines, and federal regulations. Facilitate post-award and committee approval activities on all research projects. Report to the Director of the Institutional Review Board for Human Subjects. ? Manage research protocols submission and approval processes. Perform preliminary reviews on all new submissions. Maintain correspondence with all private investigators and faculty sponsors. Provide customer service for investigators via email, interoffice mail and/or by phone. Assist in supporting the Chairperson for the IRB with meeting coordination (pre and post), minutes and IRB determinations.
