Daily Duties at Onsource Consulting:

All aspects of technical recruiting, such as: cold-calling, interviewing, for part and full-time contract to perm and permanent positions. Made commission within my first two months.

What they like about Onsource Consulting:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.

Updating and Administering Websites

I've been putting my PHP and XML learning to the test recently by accepting a large website to my list of client work. It was built in PERL and though I am not a PERL programmer I am finding my way through. The site was also built in Frontpage and I have been tasked with converting it over to Dreamweaver - doing away with those Frontpage extensions. Fun stuff!
