Daily Duties at Life Masters Supported Self Care:
Led design efforts that saved 15 man days per month by streamlining and re-engineering manual data loading processes. Within 1 year was able to reduce staffing requirements from 17 data analyst to 6 data analyst by selecting and acquiring Pervasive ETL software (Java based). Acquired 8 new clients and adapted systems to accept and send HIPAA Industry Standard file formats. Reduced client data integration project time line from 90 days to 45 days by leveraging previously built automation. Architected work around due to database schema restrictions by creating associative “adjunct” tables. • Managed staff of 15 that included an ETL programming team, Data Analyst team and Systems Analysts. • Architected ETL automation of data loading process using Pervasive Software. • Collaborated with business and technology groups to develop technical design, requirements and alternatives. • Created project plans, status reports, issue tracking and hosted status meetings and vendor calls. • Led projects to create analytical data marts to be used by departmental reporting groups. • Oversaw data loading of over 250 files per month, some in industry standard HIPAA file format (834, 837, NCPDP and HL7), most in proprietary formats. Also oversaw data extraction for sending files to external vendors (also HIPAA formats). • Created systems to track data quality results from over 300 unique tests. • Augmented data warehouse schema without being allowed to change schema. • Reported directly to CIO for 1.5 years. Provided updates to all levels of senior management at various meetings.
