Daily Duties at Colorado Legal Services:
• Serves as an intern with a professional in a work setting that requires and develops both legal knowledge and approaches to problem identification, analysis and recommendations. • Typing speed varies between 40 wpm and 70 wpm. • Taking intake, making return calls, figuring client’s financial eligibility for services. • Interpreting for deaf clients, as well as providing case research and preparing forms. • Taking over the positions of the Office Manager, Administrative Assistant and Paralegal, and Intake Coordinator as needed.
