Daily Duties at Sun Microsystems/Xerox:
• Supported Sales Representatives and Technicians (60+ employees on location). • Printed/copied/faxed documents; created various types of spreadsheets; organized meetings; booked conference rooms both on and off site; shipped/received equipment and parts. • Ran lobby and conference rooms; greeted guests; assisted with setup and use of office equipment; answered phones; updated files; ran reports; stocked and organized offices; repaired non-working equipment; handled all building related issues. • Served as main point of contact for all contractors/vendors as well as Security, Human Resource and Workplace Resource Departments. • As Security liaison, monitored all building activity, kept running lists of present employees and ensured security in badged areas. • As HR and WR liaison, welcomed and guided new employees and educated them on office procedures and software. • Established employee manual, which was adopted by Corporate HR and instituted nationally.
