Hired to co-lead the purchasing and installation of an Oracle based Enterprise Software package for three home health care agencies. Post-implementation stayed on to manage the system remotely using development tools to modify the common programs for each specific home health agency’s policy and procedures requirements. * Assisted three home health agencies to set up comprehensive Performance Improvement Program as mandate by their surveyors. * Assisted five home health agencies to complete Plans of Correction while ensuring they passed their re-surveys at the federal & state levels. Technical responsibilities included: * Pre sales activities and requirements analysis. * Feasibility study for implementing software solutions using Oracle databases and tools. * Planning and implementing user security processes. * Designing and implementing database backup’s strategy. * Planning and documenting system upgrade procedures. * Planning, scheduling and automating Backups and Archiving. * Provided support for logical and physical database design, capacity planning for the database. * Supported for managing Database security using Roles and privileges. * Used SQL*Loader utility to load data into Oracle applications database. * Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle 10g. * Assisted in performance monitoring and tuning of Oracle database servers. * Analyzed tables and indexes for performance tuning optimizing database objects and streamlining applications. * Created database objects such as tables, indexes, views etc. using SQL Plus. * Utilized Data Transformation Services to perform ETL jobs from different types of data sources. * Developed and implemented user-friendly documents electronically to comply with existing and new state & federal regulations.
