Systems Software Engineer * Managed projects, teams of up to 15 engineers, and performed a broad range of engineering assignments to assess and ensure the quality of server releases. * Provided consulting and managed customer issues for Compaq Technical Support engineers, diagnosed server issues, and escalated product issues to development teams as required. * Documented known issues and trouble tickets, providing a high level of detail and ensuring accuracy to facilitate timely problem resolution. * Maintained schedules and prepared final written project deliverables. Systems Software Engineer (Technical Writer) * Leveraged extensive Compaq and Microsoft Windows experience and skills to author internal documentation describing engineering problems and their resolutions in support of the company’s server, systems management, and clustering products as related to Microsoft Windows 2000 and NT. * Served as manager when the manager was unavailable or out of the office.
