Daily Duties at Publix Supermarkets, Inc:

Providing premier customer service, Maintaining Publix's high standards for product freshness and sanitation, Selecting and packaging products ordered by customers, Filling, maintaining and rotating products and displays, Preparing special orders and party trays, Operating cash register, meat and cheese slicers, oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale and other Deli equipment, Assisting in other duties, as assigned by the deli manager. Also keeping weekly reports up to day, making schedules for associates, doing ordering for all the product lines offered in the deli. Trained new associated and retrained older associates as need with new material. Attended workshops to be certified in required course. Daily computer work with corporate computer systems. Receiving product from outside vendors as well as our own warehouses. Inventory 4 to 5 times a year.
