Daily Duties at Aig Insurance Company:
Review new claims to determine medical exposures. Contact all involved parties to explain loss process. Investigate potential coverage issues. Determine coverage exposures. Investigate and qualify persons for PIP coverage. Review medical bills for payment. Negotiate provider charges. Negotiate payment demands. Ensure payments are issued timely. Evaluate reserves. Medically manage PIP exposures by using Provider contact, Customer contact, EUO's, IME's, and Peer reviews. Maintain daily mail, File quality, Customer service and Closing ratio. Identify claims requiring SIU intervention. Assistant claims representative, AIG insurance Co., Tampa FL Entered as an assistant claims representative in January of 2001 and maintained the position of ACR until September of 2001 which entailed the following responsibilities: Issue payments to Medical providers and Vendors. Generate and mail letters. Filing. Maintain file organization for the Adjusters Review files for closure to assure all issues have been addressed. Obtain police reports, medical records and other documentation needed to assist the Adjusters in the investigation of claims. Re-open reserves for closed files requiring additional attention and place on dairy for closed file Adjuster. Additional projects as needed.
