Daily Duties at Oakland Military Institute College Preparatory Academy:
•Develop curriculum and teaching two Pre-Algebra sections of 23 seventh graders for 100 minutes blocks 5 times a week. Weekly collaborations with Pre-Algebra instructors for student-centered, state standard curriculum and assessments. •Develop curriculum and teaching for a section of Algebra of 25 students ranging from ninth to eleventh graders for 50 minutes periods 5 times a week. •Develop curriculum and teaching for a section of Geometry of 25 students ranging from eighth to eleventh graders for 50 minutes periods 5 times a week. Weekly collaborations with other Geometry instructors for student-centered, state standard curriculum and assessments. •Advising two twelve graders on their Senior Thesis project. •After school tutoring for 15 eleventh graders •Translator during parent and staff conferences •Member of WASC state standards curriculum committee
