Daily Duties at The Salvation Army:

Drove Salvation Army trucks on scheduled routes, Planned routes for most efficient routing, Picked up donations and/or delivered merchandise, including furniture and home appliances, to/from customers homes, Operated trucks within established Salvation Army standards and state driving regulations, Performed general maintenance/repairs on vehicles, Insured safety, security, and accountability of the vehicle and merchandise, Supervised truck helper, Assisted in thrift store operations, Maintained excellent customer relations/communications, Performed dispatch operations as necessary, including answering phones, filing, scheduling, and maintaining contact with truck drivers, Filled in, as needed, in the positions of: Cashier, Warehouse foreman, Assistant store manager, Bus Driver.
