Daily Duties at Center For Asian American Media:
• Researched the center's audience development goals and needs, as well as the current state of Asian American media and its audience, to develop creative strategies for utilizing web technology for audience development. • Created and maintained news and reference content on the center's website, a source for cultural news within the Asian and Asian American communities. • Researched and developed online marketing strategies for the 25th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. Served on the Shorts Screening Committee. • Helped to locate contributors (artists, bloggers, activists, and filmmakers) for the website. • Investigated and proposed a completely new vision for the Center for Asian American Media’s website as well as a re-design of the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival’s website. • Managed exploratory phase and completed proposal for a film festival panel discussion on traditional and online marketing and distribution methods. • Studied a grassroots marketing plan for a family screened of the Disney Channel original film “Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior”
