Daily Duties at Fiber Tower:
Design and deployment cleanup for multi-market, RF/fiber hybrid wireless backhaul. Client and OSP interaction, pre-design site walks and usage/future growth meetings. Physical install, turn-up and testing of all ADM's/IDU's/ODU's, training of field personel in such. Responsible for re-aligning tasks, bringing budgets and timelines back into parameters, redesign of failed network elements. Training of field personel in proper grounding/cabling procedures, correction of same when poorly completed. Inventory and backordering of materials and hardware to assure no delay on current and upcoming projects. R&D on new products and/or upgrades to assertain viability within the network, coordination with platform providers to refine software, user interface and hardware design for optimal deployment within the network. Report and escalation to VP level any and all emergent issues.
