Daily Duties at Computer Associates:
o Developed and maintained system software products for the IBM mainframe environment. o Performed Level 2 support for CA-UFO (a CICS based 4/GL application development environment), CA-COBOL/XE (a COBOL-like CICS application development language) and CA-SPOOL (a mainframe print spooler and printer management tool). o Participated in projects to port CA-Unicenter to various UNIX platforms. o Interfaced with clients to aid in product installation and use, recreating problems and creating solutions (patches and SMP updates) at the source and object levels and assisting clients coding exit programs to customize systems for their site. o Presented sales, marketing and training sessions at industry conferences. o Made on-site visits to clients having severe installation or usage issues. o Had extensive client contact and communication.
