What they like about Geoworks Corp.:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.

Getting ready for release
Our project is finally in the last days before it's public release. We've been at this for 18 months now. It's been a long slog. I personally rewrote my part of the service (source code management) at least twice. The web design also went through a dramatic overhaul since the initial private testing phase. I'm looking forward to developers trying it out and giving us their feedback. Maybe we'll finally adopt a real Agile development model, too, instead of the pretend form we've been haphazardly employing so far.
