Daily Duties at Monster Worldwide:

What they like about Monster Worldwide:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.

Climbers' Joblogs at Monster Worldwide:

What do I want?

Hello to the blog universe! I am in an interesting situation in life right now - looking for a new job! I started a job recently with a start-up as a Sales Manager for the East Coast - and after going on vacation, came back to find that the company is out of money and hanging on by a thread! In a really "interesting" move, the CEO has asked some of his sales staff to take an unpaid "sabbatical" while he finds financing (I would have thought the sales staff would be the last to go, but this just might be part of the problem...haha!) Thus, I find myself looking for a job.

My husband and I just moved to NJ from Boston where I spent 7 years at an internet job board giant (Monster). Had various positions and finally realized that what I love to do is coach and mentor sales reps. I was excited about my new position at the aforementioned start-up as I was being given the keys to manage, but now I am hoping for that same opportunity again. Also considering a position as a sales trainer (but not sure if my pocketbook can take the hit!)

So, out into the blogosphere goes my request for good job-search karma! Ciao for now and God bless!
