Daily Duties at Boys & Girls Club Of Camden County:
• Facilitated a national grant program, Job Ready! Career Prep, this program teaches teenagers ages 15-18 years of age, resume development, interviewing skills, long and short term goals, and career networking skills. • Develop advertising and recruitment packages for various recruitment functions showcasing Boys & Girls Clubs employer brand and facilities activities. • Pre-Screened applicants, and identified hiring models; scheduled, and administer interviews and testing with qualified employees and referred to hiring manager. • Coordinate reference and background checks of potential candidates as well as provide communication to all qualified applicants; maintain knowledge of best practices for recruitment techniques and apply creative and problem resolution for recruitment obstacles. • Trained, and developed new youth workers, in all required fields including health and safety, company policies, leadership, goal setting, and mentorship. • Organized and updated employment files, which included, medical information, background checks, I-9, W-4, and other employment related files; • Supervised 20 + Youth Workers in all areas of the facility, developed scheduling, payroll, dealt with youth workers and club members concerns, and issues effectively; supervised over 100 children in social recreation, gymnasium, education, and aquatics department for safety and health hazards. • Maintained a calendar of events, answered phone calls, scheduled appointments and interviews for the Youth Development Director, and completed other administrative related work, and helped in other areas around the facility where necessary.
