Climbers' Joblogs at Ama Computer College:

What have I done to become more effective in my position?

For the past years my experience at Manila Water Company has been both pleasant and productive.
My first assignment was the Manggahan Floodway Water Supply project were there are 36,000 household beneficiaries. It is an urban poor community and because of the high risk losses,we opted to sell water through bulkselling. In doing so, we reduce the level of water losses, helped the marginalized have water and we also train community leaders to handle water systems. My job as a territory manager is to propose project, monitor collection, attend to after sales and minimize water losses. As a territory manager,me and my team are the "frontliners" in water services affairs in a particular area. The bulk selling scheme is a success in minimizing losses, helping communities manage water systems and it also m inimized the operational expense of the company.
My second assignment was the Antipolo Water Supply Project. I assisted the project from womb to tomb. From project implementation to marketing up to territory monitoring. Antipolo has mountainous terrain and I piloted the pre-selling scheme where while negotiating the location of pipelines and reservoirs we are already selling water services.
My third assignement if the feasibility study of Rizal towns and provinces.
My training has been on all aspects of customer service, marketing, pipelaying, businesss continuity and public relations.
The secret on my project success is relationship, good values andoptimism.
