Assisted members, pharmacists, doctors, and clients of insurance companies with correct mail order prescription procedures. - Assisted members with ordering or canceling prescriptions due to potential side effects, updating account information with new or temporary address to have prescriptions mailed, and providing information about medication and alternatives. - Assisted pharmacists with adjudication of claims at local pharmacies. - Assisted doctors with calling in new prescriptions by transferring to pharmacists on board, providing member information of prescription history, and canceling member medications due to potential side effects. - Assisted clients of insurance companies by providing member information of begin and end use year of insurance policy. - Duties also included billing, Internet issues, follow-up calls, and notation of accounts with reports corresponding to issue on VAX-D system and other applications.
