Daily Duties at Beaird Company Ltd:

� Manages and directs efforts of all quality activities which include inspection, radiography and other nondestructive testing, weld lab and welding engineering activities and personnel. � Works closely with Sales, Engineering and Estimating departments to review specifications and drawings for the purpose of developing procedures to be used by department personnel in performance of their assignments. � Responsible for a system of implementing a system to qualify vendors and evaluate their ability to provide a quality product to support production. � Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system, reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system. � Analyze issues pertaining to quality best practices and develop solutions � Serves as customer contact for quality issues and/or concerns. � Serves as a change agent for lean initiatives implement in the organization.
