Daily Duties at Si Mtone Corporation:
Architect, develop, and deploy carrier grade database backbone and infrastructure. Research viability of database technology and deliver recommendations to executive management. Design database schemata and client API interfaces for high security, high availability (99.999%), and massive scalability. Develop, implement, and publish scale-up and scale-out solutions. Work with executive management and application architects to define requirements and ensure seamless database integration into application environment. Train and support internal and vendor teams. Develop database environment backup, maintenance, monitoring, and advisory infrastructure. Integrate database environment with Network Managing System (NMS). Develop Network Operations Center (NOC) support and escalation procedures. Assess, develop, implement, and publish performance tuning, high availability/clustering solutions, and best practices to customers, resellers, and vendors. Develop customer-facing control panel and reporting applications. Advise executive management in Corporate Marketing and High Performance on web application and portal technologies. Interact with vendors to maintain and manage support and licensing contracts. Track and resolve MySQL and InnoDB feature and support issues.
