Daily Duties at University Of Munnesota:
• Statistical analysis of gene expression data (evaluated and deployed existing statistical approaches and developed new methods for the normalization and evaluation of microarray data; microarray data quality analysis). • Analysed and mined microarray datasets; developed hypotheses and planned follow up experiments. • Conducted data acquisition and quality assessment of experiments for researchers from the laboratory and collaborators. Data curation. • Developed and implemented LIMS for microarray data which includes statistical module and relational database. • Designed and implementated software to integrate, mine, and analyse gene expression data. • Hired and supervised temporary personnel for microarray gridding. • Trained and consulted researchers from the lab, collaborators, and temporary personnel on use of appropriate software and/or appropriate statistical methods. • Prepared regular reports and presentations. • Authored and participated in preparation of scientific manuscripts.
